This rubric is for grading of a model the students make of an invention between the years of 1800 and 2000 they believe to be the most important invention in agriculture.

	Poor 10 pts	Fair 20 pts	Good 30 pts	Excellent 40 pts
Time usage	Poor Student wasted class times working.	Fair Student was on task no more than half the time when time was given to work.	Good Student was on task 50-90% of the time when time was given to work.	Excellent Student was on task 100% of the time when time was given to work.
Cleanliness	Poor Project area was not cleaned after use.	Fair Project area was less than 50% clean.	Good Project area was more than 50% clean but had room for improvement.	Excellent Project area was completely clean each day.
Final project	Poor Didn't apply to agricultural inventions or was incomplete.	Fair Project idea was on target and product was poorly done OR product idea was not on target and product was well done.	Good Project idea was on target and product was well done, with room for improvement.	Excellent Project was exceptionally done.
Oral Presentation	Poor No reasons for choice of invention given.	Fair Reasons were given for choice and were not accurate OR 1 reason was given with accurate information	Good Reasons were given and were accurate.	Excellent Reasons were given and were accurate AND long term benefits or another facet of the invention were named.
