Student Case Handout 
Case Presentation Handout: Using a brief overview of the patient case (one paragraph), highlight the evidence based medicine. If no handout is brought to presentation 1/2 credit lost. If not emailed to classmates and clerkship staff by 5pm same day no credit for handout (0 points).

EBM is presented from 1-2 primary sources (most references are texts, review articles or uptodate). Level is that of a topic guideline.

Primary studies are reviewed with a summary of relevant data. Treatment standards (ACOG, FIGO, CDC, WHO) are included. At least 3 primary sources are used. All references are cited. Level is that of a relevant & focused EBM topic.
Discussion of Case/EBM

Developing

No discussion or f/up of patient case or no discussion of relevance/context of topic
Proficient

Presenter presents f/up of the case, but context of topic information presented is in a limited or overly general way.
Exemplary

Student is able to place patient case in context of of literature, and standards of evaluation and/or management
