Organization

Poor

The presentation does not feel like a fieldtrip. There was no "tour guide" for the presentation. The information in the presentation seems "thrown together." The information does not flow.
Fair

All of the information is in the presentation, but lacks a strong "flow." The presentation has a "tour guide," but the tour guide jumps around from point to point.
Good

The presentation flows wonderfully moving from point to point. The presentation feels like a real field trip, and there is strong evidence of a "tour guide" present. Each point in the presentation is thoroughly covered.
Content

Poor

The group members identify which area they are focused on, but do not give adequate information on each subject within their area. There is little audio and text in the presentation.
Fair

The group members successfully identify which area they are focused on and give sufficient information for each subject. There are some unexplained pictures or phrases in the presentation that leave the audience confused.
Good

The group successfully identifies their area of focus and uses plenty of audio and text to explain all aspects of their presentation. Each new topic is explained to the audience. Group members also used teacher-approved web sites for their presentation.
Creativity

Poor

The group members did the minimum of what was asked of them. There were minimal pictures used in the presentation. The overall presentation lacks special effects such as music or engaging techniques.
Fair

The group used adequate pictures and audio. The presentation has at least one feature that stands out to the audience and captures their attention.
Good

The group went above and beyond what was asked. The presentation contained special features such as music, games, or other engaging tools for the audience.
Participation

Poor

Not all group members participated in the creation of the presentation. Only one or two group members worked to complete the assignment.
Fair

All group members participated in the presentation, but the participation was not evenly distributed. Some group members did not work as hard as others.
Good

All group members participated equally during the creation of the project. A "jobs" list is available for the teacher to see who was in charge of what on the presentation.
