Layout/Design	Level 4 Very well laid-out, information is balanced, uncluttered and nicely spaced.	Level 3 Well laid-out, information is balanced, uncluttered and adequately spaced.	Level 2 Some balance, but cluttered, or space on poster was not used adequately.	Level 1 Very messy and cluttered.
Effective Message	Level 4 Message is abundantly clear and very creatively displayed.	Level 3 Message is moderately clear, with a reasonable level of creativity.	Level 2 Message is partially clear, with some creativity.	Level 1 Message is unclear.
Text Size and Colour	Level 4 All text is clear and readable; good use of colour. Colour and placement of text relays message.	Level 3 Most text is clear and readable; use of colour and placement of text adequately helps to relay message.	Level 2 Some text is clear and readable; size of text isn't adequate or is not consistent. Lack of colour.	Level 1 Text is very difficult to read. There is little or no color in the poster.
