Football (Ball Control, Carrying and Running with the ball) Summary of Learning: Football Skill Assessment Students will be evaluated on carrying a football correctly. Mechanics	Outstanding Consistently performs safe and controlled loco motor skills, flag pulling, and hand-offs. Protects the football when traveling in space. Moves safely without colliding with others.	Good Performs skills with occasional errors in both form and outcome. Performs hand-offs with control.	Fair Performs skills with frequent errors in both form and outcome.	Poor Displays unsatisfactory effort in performing various loco motor skills or hand-offs.
Ball Control	Outstanding Holds the football correctly while traveling in open space.	Good Maintains control of the football the majority of the time.	Fair Has difficulty maintaining possession of the football while traveling.	Poor Little to no effort in attempting to hold football correctly.
Running Route	Outstanding Looks for, locates, and moves into open space during game play.	Good Is able to move safely with acceptable control.	Fair Has difficulty performing successful hand-offs.	Poor Avoids interactions with others, chooses not to participate.
Sportsmanship	Outstanding Conducts herself/himself safely and with consideration for others.	Good Conducts herself/himself safely without disrupting the learning environment.	Fair Occasionally creates unsafe situations.	Poor Often breaks safety rules and disrupts the learning environment.
