Choir Class Participation Rubric Choir Class Participation Rubric Daily Participation Rubric for Chorus classes. Reflects daily choral attitude, participation, engagement. Cell Phone use is an automatic Unsatisfactory mark. Grade at the end of each Marking Period will be an average of the Daily Participation points. Participation is 35% of your grade per Marking Period. Rubric Code: AXACC88 By adoctor Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Music Type: Assessment Grade Levels: 9-12

Choir Rubric
	Zero 0 pts	Unsatisfactory 2 pts	Needs Improvement 4 pts	Satisfactory 8 pts	Excellent 10 pts
Daily Participation 10 pts Is on task, focused, participates willingly and watches and responds to the conductor.	Zero Unexcused absence or outright defiance, disrespect. (i.e. hurtful language towards other students/teacher, inappropriate statements in academic setting, etc.)	Unsatisfactory (CELL PHONE USE is an automatic Unsatisfactory mark.) Does not participate appropriately during class; does not listen to the instructor; does not stay on task.	Needs Improvement (MISSING MUSIC FOLDER is an automatic Needs Improvement mark.) Participates very little during class; rarely follows choir music and directions from the instructor.	Satisfactory Generally participates during class; follows choir music and usually follows directions from the instructor. Some distractons.	Excellent Participates willingly during class, with a positive attitude. Listens to directions from the instructor and follows them.
