Opinion Essay 
Task: Students spent time discussing sacrifice associated with the events of September 11. Students were then given the task of choosing one community to write a 5 paragraph opinion essay on how their chosen community is still sacrificing today. The students also had to give 3 strong reasons including facts and details to support their thinking.
