Time and effort 20%	A Class time was used wisely. Much time and effort went into the planning and design of the windsock.	B Class time was used wisely. Student could have put in more time and effort into artwork.	C Class time was not always used wisely, more time could have went into creating pottery pieces.	D Class time was not used wisely and the student put in no additional effort.
Creativity 20%	A Student has implemented the techniques being studied and applied it in a way that is totally his/her own. The student's personality/voice comes through.	B Student has implemented the technique being studied and has used source material as a starting place. The student's personality comes through in parts of the pottery.	C Student has copied some of the design. There is little evidence of creativity, but the student has done the assignment.	D Student has not made much attempt to meet the requirements of the assignment.
Use of materials 20%	A Student created a background. Used block printing for scales. The fish has a tail. The windsock has a ring for the mouth and paracord rope was used for hanging the windsock. The artwork shows a layering of paints and/or markers using great detail. The student shows great respect for the materials and their fellow students.	B Student created most of the elements, but project was not complete. More materials could have been used.Student shows respect for materials and fellow students.	C Student used limited elements and project was not complete. More materials are needed. Shows some respect for materials and fellow students.	D Student deliberately misuses materials AND/OR does not use materials at all. Shows little respect for materials or fellow students.
Skill / Craftsmanship 20%	A Student has presented a piece that is detailed, balanced, with good use of color and shows evidence of time spent. The creations show above average effort with use of color and design.	B Detail has been skillfully added to enhance the piece.The windsock shows average effort. More detail could have been added.	C .The creations show below average effort. Much more detail could have been added.	D The windsock shows very little effort and look as if they were quickly made. The creations show very little effort. Work is is uneven or sloppy or not completed.
Presentation 20%	A Paint/markers are applied skillfully . The colors enhance and compliment the piece, adding to the aesthetic value. The windsock is complete and ready to hang.	B Paint/markers are applied. The colors enhance and compliment the piece, adding to the aesthetic value. More effort could have been placed into the details. The windsock is complete and ready to hang.	C Paint/markers are applied carelessly . The colors are random and do not enhance and compliment the piece, The windsock is not complete and ready to hang.	D Little, if any, paint/markers has been applied and is sloppy and shows no detail or thought went into the project. The project is not complete.
