Student is never involved with the class activity.
Student is distracting to the class as a whole.
Preparation

Excellent

Student completed research and/or is ready with required materials for the class.
Above Average

Student usually completes research and/or is ready with required materials for the class.
Average

Student sometimes completes research, has completed some assignments and is sometimes ready for class.
Poor

Student rarely completed research and/or assignments. Student contributed little to the overall activity.
Unacceptable

Student never completed required research and/or assignments. Student contributed nothing to the overall activity
Social Interaction

Excellent

Student respects and encourages the views of others, asks questions and builds on others comments.
Above Average

Body and/or verbal responses indicate active listening. Student asks questions and builds on others comments.
Average

Student sometimes pays attention to the group discussion. Student sometimes asks questions.
Poor

Student frequently interrupts and does not respect the views of most others.
Unacceptable

Student does not interact socially at all.
