open strings	Poor Instrument is in wrong hand or position is completely wrong. Bow hold is off. Can't identify any strings.	Fair Instrument is out of position. Bow hold has significant issues. Can only name one string	Good Instrument position is good. Bow hold has some issues - flat thumb or pinky. Bow might be pulling crooked. Able to identify three of four strings	Excellent Instrument is in good basic position. Bow hold has perfect form or very close. Bow pull is smooth and straight Can identify all 4 strings correctly.
Overall position	Poor Complete mess. Significant issues in both hands.	Fair Position issues in both hands. Still able to produce a reasonable sound	Good One hand is good, but issues in the other.	Excellent Solid left hand position. Good bow hold.
