Line Sculpture Recognize each type of line. Manipulate paper to create various lines (bend, fold, overlap). Choose from a variety of colored paper strips to make my artwork unique.

Use of Line	Excelling 8-10 different lines were used to create sculpture.	Achieving 5-7 lines were used.	Approaching Less than 5 lines were used.
Paper Techniques	Excelling Several creative paper techniques were used to create lines (bending, folding, spiraling, creating feet).	Achieving Mainly 1 technique was used repeatedly to create lines.	Approaching Not demonstrating an understanding of the paper techniques shown in class. No techniques used.
Composition-arrangement of papers	Excelling Used the whole space of the paper. The sculpture has height as well. Colors are arranged in an appealing way. The artist thought out and planned the location and color of the papers.	Achieving Used most of the space. There is a little height. Repeated many of the colors some planning evident.	Approaching Most of the space was not used. The sculpture may not be 3-d. Repeated same color over and over. The artist just randomly glued papers on the background.
