Sight-Reading Rhythms
	Emerging 8 pts	Proficient 9 pts	Advanced 10 pts
Rhythmic Accuracy	Emerging All Rhythms are spoken/clapped with fair accuracy. Rhythm syllables are mostly correct with several mistakes.	Proficient All Rhythms are spoken/clapped with almost complete accuracy. Rhythm syllables are correct with few mistakes.	Advanced All Rhythms are spoken/clapped with complete rhythmic accuracy. If spoken Rhythm syllables used are correct with no mistakes.
Consistent Tempo	Emerging Student may use tempo set by the evaluator or may establish his/her own, but tempo does not remain consistent and may have several stops or hesitations.	Proficient Student may use tempo set by the evaluator or may establish his/her own, but mostly maintains consistent tempo throughout with few stops or hesitations.	Advanced Student uses tempo set by the evaluator and maintains consistent tempo throughout with no stops or hesitations.
