Students are in charge of developing a tattoo to allow the world to know about positive body image. Centerpiece of tattoo must be a representative of the Maori tattoos joined with Celtic ornamentation so that an entirely new image is made.

The first assessment of 2013 is to see how much you remember about using Photoshop and all its tools. You may create either a skateboard, tshirt or cd cover design using a template you will find on the net. You will be marked on your use of CS tools, manipulation and choice of objects, design composition and of course use of class time.

The student will design a persuasive writing projective using a toothpaste that they have invented and are ready to market.

Package Design

The students will develop a poster design on a topic of their choice. The poster must utilize one color harmony: analogous, complementary, triadic, tetradic, etc. Additionally, the design must exemplify good use of the elements and principles of graphic design.

Develop a magazine article on a topic of your choice. Write at least a 1 page article using proper grammar, punctuation and spelling. Once you have written the article, then using Photoshop and Illustrator, format the text and add graphics to create a pleasing 2 page (18x12") spread for a magazine. Students will tell the story of their topic both visually and with the written word.
