Oral Presentation- Book Report
Students will give a short oral presentation to the class on their book. They will give the title of the book, author, their opinion of the book and the summary of the book in a logical, sequential manner. Following their presentation they will answer two questions to clarify listeners' questions. As a listener themselves, they will not distract others or cause any disturbance while a peer is presenting.

Lord of the Flies Puzzle Poster
Students must identify symbols from the novel and describe their significance on a poster. The poster must also include visual images of each symbol, its description and evidence from the text to explain its significance. Using the poster paper provided, magazines, internet sources, or hand-drawings, create a poster that is neat, organized, and appropriate to convey how each symbol is interconnected to the theme of the novel.
