Health Substance Abuse research Project

Create a poster to educate your class about a specific drug. You must include the classification of the drug, its actual name and any known street names, how it affects your body & mind, its level of addictiveness, where it is found, what it looks like, why anyone might want to take it, community resources that can provide support for health concerns relating to substance use/abuse, and personal and social effects of taking /becoming addicted to this substance.

You are to design an anti-smoking poster. The poster must be a creative anti-smoking ad to attract people's attention. The poster must contain the following... -have at least three (correct) health risks associated with smoking -have at least three pressures that influence people to start or continue smoking -a catchy slogan, phrase or short poem -have at least 3 persuasive techniques to convince people that smoking is not cool

Olympic Athlete Biography

The purpose of this project is to research and develop a detailed poster based on a country with which Canada interacts. Posters should include facts about the country’s resources/products, culture, government, religion, geography, social events, recreational pastimes, economics, and their relationship with Canada (trade, alliances, agreements, etc..).
