Poster Rubric
Students will work independently to create a poster highlighting a historical figure or event from the Renaissance, Reformation, or Age of Exploration. Each poster must include a 250 word writing prompt explaining your poster and the reason why you chose to highlight this historical figure. Each poster will also be graded on its aesthetic presentation. Writing prompts must be submitted on Google Docs only.

Podcast/TED Talk Presentation
Students will assume the role of a Podcaster/TED Talk presenter. Students will select a MP 2 topic that they are passionate about and create a 3 minute (solo) 5 minute (pair) Podcast/TED Talk to a targeted audience, their classmates. Extra credit will be given to those who also produce it on video. Each submission must be accompanied by a 200 word reflection piece highlighting the reason why you chose your topic as well as your experience completing the assignment.

Essay Rubric
Essays are 500 word minimum 750 word maximum. Essays must be submitted on Google Docs only. A reference list must also be included. Essays may be a topic of your choosing. Some options are not limited to but include a biographical essay, analysis of a movement, analysis of a work of art. If there is any question to the integrity of your essay you may be asked to present your mastery of the topic in another manner.
