Health Diseases Pamphlet
A rubric designed to evaluate a project for high school health. The project is to design a pamphlet describing assigned diseases and an oral presentation.

Body System Interactive Bulletin Board
This rubric is to grade student's research of a human body system, describing it's function, the main organs or body parts involved and a few major diseases or illnesses associated with that system. The project must include all key facts about the system, be creatively displayed, include ways that other students can interact with the presentation, such as a Kahoot!, quizlet, or quizze. A bibliography must be on the back of the board or the last slide, with at least one non-internet resource.

Body System Interactive Bulletin Board
This rubric is to grade student's research of a human body system, describing it's function, the main organs or body parts involved and a few major diseases or illnesses associated with that system. Students will describe the changes of this body system throughout a person's life and how this system interacts with other body systems Each student will give an oral presentation using their interactive poster/bulletin board. The board must include all key facts about the system, be creatively displayed, include ways that other students can interact with the board, such as a lift-a-flap game or puzzle. A bibliography must be pasted onto the back of the board with at least one non-internet resouce.

Group Fitness Routine
In groups, students will create a fitness routine based on one area of study that has been demonstrated by the teacher. Fitness routine will have a warm-up, stretching, a series of exercises to complete the routine, and a cool down.

Human Body Systems Project
Student will create a project to demonstrate his/her knowledge about an assigned human body system. Student will address all of the organs in the system, the functions within the body system and why the body system is important for survival. An oral presentation of their project to explain and answer questions on their system will be a portion of their grade.

Yoga Essay
I can write an essay to support the claim of what yoga means to me with clear reasons and relevant evidence. This means I will introduce a claim and organize the reasons and evidence clearly, support claims with clear reasons and relevant evidence, using credible sources, use words, phrases, and clauses related to yoga to clarify the relationship among claim and reasons and provide a concluding statement that follows the reasoning presented.

Yoga poses - skill testing
Students choose 3 yoga poses from various categories. One of those choices must be a plank (core). Modifications are used for students with physical/medical limitations. First year yoga students are required to hold a pose for 3-5 breaths. Second year and beyond yoga students are required to hold the poses for 5-8 breaths.
