This rubric is used to evaluate Projects or Flyers. The flyer is to promote the school.

Writing sentences in Spanish to describe people.

You are advertising a pre-planned trip to a Spanish-speaking country for 1 week (focus on a single city/region). Your audience will want to know a little about the country in which they might be traveling, and they will also need your recommendations for what to do/visit/eat while there. You must have a digital aid (with pictures) for your presentation, such as a PowerPoint, video, Prezi, etc., and your entire presentation, both written and spoken must be in Spanish.

Rubric designed to rate how well students are working together in a group. Groups are discussing emotions, previous experiences. Students are also making inferences about a historic picture, and brainstorming questions for our unit.

Rubric for game building process.

This test is for Spanish I students who have studied Unit 5. The unit covers Estar, household vocabulary, emotions vocabulary, prepositions, and directional vocabulary.

Students will choose a career and make a visual project of the career in Spanish: It must include: 1. vocabulary related to the career 2. Education required for the career 3. equipment needed for the career 4. Jobs openings in USA and Other Countries 5. a connection between this careers and the Spanish world and 1 Famous /important Spanish-speaking person Create the project on Key Note Record 5 vocabulary words in Spanish All the project must be complete in Spanish and English.

Students will choose a sport and make a visual project of the sport in Spanish: It must include: 1. vocabulary of sport, 2. country of origin of sport, important dates and facts and where the sport has spread, 3. equipment needed to play, 4. rules of the game, 5. a connection between this sport and the Spanish world and 1 Spanish-speaking player. Create the project on Key Note Record 5 vocabulary words in Spanish All the project must be complete in Spanish and English.

This is the rubric we will use to judge the holiday door decorating contest. ***Guidelines: This year's theme is entitled "Holidays Around the World". Classes should design doors that reflect all holidays during the year. Must be student's creation.

Students select one Famous Hispanic, research about him/her and create a clip, key notes a presentation. Student must present a picture as well a time line of the life. Also they will find why the person is famous for and charitable labor. Compare physical and personality characteristic from the person and themselves. Note: Wkipedia is not allowed to be used for this project.

The student will develop a detailed presentation of the flag based on their research of the country. They will explain in detail colors and what significance have any crest or symbol. they will research about the history of the flag and the protocol to follow when handle and when the flag is being disposed. They will write or type the information and draw or have a picture of the flag. On a 17 x 11 poster, students will put all the information they found and the flag . NO EXCUSES.

Students will complete an All About Me Essay about themselves. They must include: Cover Page: Must include the following 1. Name 2. Grade 3. Period 4. Picture that represents you Essay: 1. Introduction: including Background- 1 paragraph 2. Body: Who you are… 3 paragraphs a. Family b. Friends c. Hobbies/ Interests d. Favorite Things e. Pets 3. Conclusion: Future and wrap up- 1 paragraph 4, Type double space

Duplicate a Master Painting - Create and Understand painting styles and color schemes of a masterwork.

A rubric that properly evaluates the artistic process. It measures the various phases and approaches that are necessary in the assessment of a project or a work of art.

You must create your research presentation using Google slides. When complete upload to Google Classroom.

Students research the famous painter assigned to them, presenting information on a poster. They will re construct a piece of art from the painter and a time line of the life of the painter. they will write 2 paragraph one about the painter and another about how they feel and why the select the paint.

Select a famous Hispanic artist (painter or sculptor). They can be from any period; gothic, baroque, renaissance or contemporary. You must research your artist & select a piece of particular interest to you. You will include your artist's biography, their period in which they worked & describe the characteristics of the period as well as express why you selected artist. Artist must be pre-approved. Due 2-13-15

Expected behaviors in Spanish Class

Students will research about the origins, history and celebration of El Dia de los muertos and will create a poster, recipe, reflection or write a paper with their findings. Understand the origins of the celebration of Día de los Muertos. Recognize some of the most important traditions of this celebration.d Describe the Día de los Muertos celebration to others.
