Arabic Culture Presentation Rubric: The Arab Countries

Character Interviews
You will be working in pairs to conduct an interview with a character from A Midsummer Night's Dream. One student will play the role of the interviewer and the other will play the role of the character. You may video tape the interview or conduct it live. The class will screen the interviews and critique each presentation using a rubric.

ASL cooking video
Working in pairs, students will produce a cooking show/video that details the cooking process for two recipes, as well as a commercial in sign language.

Poster rubric
The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the topic selected by the student. The poster should have areas segmented that directly reflect the outline created by the student. The poster will be designed on either poster board (full-sized poster board) or tri fold poster board. The student is required to explain their poster to the class and teacher

Professional Interview T&D
Select a professional employed in a training and or professional development role within their organization. Contact the professional and arrange an interview time. Gain approval for the interview from Dr. Hendon Prepare for the Interview. Complete the Interview. Write a thank-you note. Report what you learned during your Interview.
