Graphic artwork can be found everywhere. Students will choose an already designed product to change and make their own. They will hand draw, scan and then digitize their changed graphic project.

Use the "Lab Report Format" to create your lab report. Each of the nine sections in the checklist will be evaluated to compile an overall 100% classwork/project grade for each lab report. Use this rubric to help you critique your lab report so that you may get the highest score possible.

In Indonesia, primarily Java and Bali, shadow puppet plays are known as Wayang-Kulit. Wayang is the Indonesian word for "theater" and Kulit means "skin," referring to the buffalo leather used to make traditional puppets.

Student will create a miniture musuem exhibit and a professional presentation. They will research a primary source which may include a monument or significant artifact. They will design an exhibit explaining the life and times of an Ancient Civilization. Their research will be compiled into a presentation which will display their knowledge of the civilization represented and the chosen museum piece.

Assignment 2 Your favorite character REDESIGNED! Create a drawing of your favorite character that shows your character looking, doing, and saying something that is EXTREMELY DIFFERENT than how he/she/it would normally be. You will be graded on : **Wednesday 8/27 you MUST participate in the group critique during the last 10 minutes of class. However, the only way you can participate is if your project is started on your FINAL paper.**

Produce a photoshopped photo. You must use your classtime effectively as it is time to learn photoshop. You must show evidence that learning the photoshop software has taken place.

Students will create an advertisement for a new product that they have created. Advertisements should include content & usefulness of a advertising technique. Students will also provide a sale pitch their knowledge of the advertising technique. Tell WHAT the purpose of the advertisement is. Decide how best you can persuade buyers to purchase your product.
