This is the rubric for your Elevator Pitch.

Students will be reading out loud and together the Diary of Anne Frank. While they are reading there will be discussion on the important topics of the book.

In specific groups, students will create a 30 second-1 min commercial using the Movie Maker Program. You must import a video for your commercial. Your commercial must be a story line production in which you are trying to convince someone to buy a specific product or go to a specific destination. You must complete the commercial worksheet (provided), and have at least 4 story board frames (see attached worksheets). You must have video, music and audio. A written script must accompany your presentation. Use the commercial worksheet to show how your commercial targets the appropriate customers, and to show how you will sell your project. This rubric will be used to assess the adult learners in the Homecare Breakthrough 'storytelling' and pitch workshop.

You will choose a well-known entrepreneur that you will research. Your research will examine, in detail, problems that they have faced in building a business and how the problem solving method it the text book was applied to the resolve the problem.

The purpose of this assignment is for students to become familiar with the shot composition rules and how to apply the rules and camera functions to create visually stimulating videos.

Students are to create a movie trailer from a complete movie that I captured into the computers. They had a choice between Toy Story 2 and Star Wars. This was used in my beginning broadcasting classes
