Generalized rubric to cover a variety of note-taking formats

This is part of your major assessment grade. Notebook grading is based on organization, neatness, and accuracy/appropriate content. This is a highly weighted assessment that places your work habits and organizational skills in high priority. Students that do not provide a notebook on the day it is due will receive an automatic 0 for the assignment.

This rubric explains, what is expected on a ppt presentation

The students will put together 3 posters to show during their oral presentation. The WAVES poster will contain examples of at least 5 of the 11 key terms learned (Transverse wave, Longitudinal wave, Crest, Trough, Compression, Rarefaction, Wavelength, Amplitude, Frequency, Electromagnetic Waves, Mechanical Waves).

This rubric is designed to assess the presentation of the group activity. The rubric should consider the performance of the group as a whole, as well as individual contributions.

Instructions: Compare and Contrast in a chart form Christianity and Islam. Use you history text book as your guide. You must include as much information and as much detail as has been outlined in the text. The following must be included in your chart: Origin of the name The Founder The Religious Divisions The followers (name) The Holy Book Jesus Christ (Who was He?) Jesus Christ (His mission) Jesus Christ (His Death and Resurrection) Traditions Rituals View on Sin Belief on Salvation If there is no information to be found for a specific topic write N/A. Students will write a comparative religion essay, comparing two of the world's 5 largest religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism) with each other. Students will describe/explain the influence of the two selected religions on civilizations throughout time.
