Creating a Myth Writing Assignment
You will create a myth that explains a natural phenomenon such as the reason behind a volcano's eruption, earthquake, echoes, rainbows, droughts etc. Your myth can contain Roman gods but you must include a god of your own. As you brainstorm what to write, it is important to remember that Romans created their stories with a purpose. Myths described how things came about in nature and incorporated human-like qualities/emotions.
