Important Person Poster and Research Rubric
The students will put together a poster for display. The poster will contain information about an important person from the Civil War. The poster will include a time line, two illustrations, and ten important facts about the person. The poster should be creative and eye catching. The poster will also include the students' names on the front.

Take Home Test/Project
Make up a real-world problem/scenario and solve/explain it using class concepts. The project must include the slope, a graph, and a linear equation (written in slope intercept, standard, and point-slope form) that represents your real world problem/scenario. It should be done on construction paper, have a detailed description of the connection/application that the problem/scenario shares with linear equations and graphs, and have step by step descriptions of your problem solving and reasoning.
