Based on AP Spanish Language & Culture Presentational Writing Rubric, Spanish 2 students used Vistas Chapters 4, 5, 6 vocabulary and grammar (present, reflexive verbs, regular preterite and ser/estar, -go verbs, -car, -gar, -zar, ver, oír, leer, creer

Create a miniature altar honoring a loved one or a famous individual who has passed away for Día de los muertos.

Choose a specific, dead or alive, person or animal to write a poem about. Write your poem using English or Spanish language. Translate your poem to either English or Spanish. Go through the writing process . your poem should contain 4 stanzas with 4 lines in each stanza. Have a consistent rhyme scheme throughout the poem. Type your poem and paste it onto a piece of construction paper. On the border around the poem, create symbols that represent your poem.

Students in level Spanish 3 / 3H will write a short story in Spanish, using their visual flashcards from Lecciones 8 y 9 Vistas 6. They will only write in class with pen and paper. No devices will be used on this project until the end when they compile the story visually. There will be drawings and Spanish words. There will be 3-4 students to a group.

Students were assigned a grammar topic from a list from the textbook. Each student will record a lesson that will help them review the structures they have been taught this academic year. Students are allowed to pick the app they want to use.

Project summary: You will be researching and designing a Google Slides presentation with pictures, audio, video and information about a Spanish-speaking country. You may add voice over information to accompany your Google Slide presentation and you must also present in Spanish the memorized section. Presentations begin the next class period.
