Colony Recruitment/Advertisement Project
Students have the option of creating a one-page newsletter, brochure, poster, newspaper article, or a flyer. Each newsletter, brochure, or flyer will reflect the colonial characteristics of the assigned New England, Middle, or Southern colony that is being created. Information contained should address weather conditions, climate, geographic features, local economics, crops, religion, etc. in an attempt to persuade settlers to join the colony.
