This should be a patient with more than two clinical diagnoses. You are encouraged to choose a patient that presents a clinical condition that reflects an advanced level of learning. Follow the clinical guidelines for presentation and include the maternal history, infant's presentation (signs/symptoms), review of systems, physical assessment findings, laboratories/diagnostic tests, differential diagnoses, medications, management, and evidence-based practice.

Students will present an oral overview of a level III neonatal intensive care patient. In clinical groups, students will present a complete overview of the assigned chronic disease. You are assigned to present a client from one of the four clinical areas for your Grand Rounds Presentation. All presentations will include a question and answer portion which involves your fellow classmates.

Patient-centered treatment plan to address key findings from the biopsychosocial strengths-based assessment that includes patient diagnosis, high-priority treatment goals, measurable objectives, a timeline for treatment progress, recommendations for further evaluation and treatment

Student will give a 1 minute minimum speech on a topic selected from the assignment instruction sheet. The assignment is posted in the communication folder. This is your first speech and will be graded lightly in comparison to future speeches and presentations.
