Take your knowledge of our solar system and create a 3D model. Planets should be in the correct order and proportioned to each other. All planets should be clearly labled. The project is to see how you view the solar system & showcase creativity. This project is worth 100 points & is due March 21. Each student will have to present their project to the class, so come prepared to discuss how the 3-D solar system model was created, be able to discuss the solar system & talk about each planet.

Students must create models or illustrations of a plant cell and animal cell. Student must label all parts of the cells, and be prepared explain their model. Create a 3-D representation or illustration of the major aspects of a cell, including: Mitochondrion, Nucleus, Ribosome, Vacuole, Cell Membrane, Cell wall, Chloroplasts, Cytoplasm, Golgi Apparatus. ALL PROJECTS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN APRIL 4, 2018.

" Cells and Systems " Students will create a 3-D model of a plant and animal cell and be able to identify the names and functions of all the cell parts ( organelles) and determine whether a cell is a plant or animal based on it parts.

The students will put together a folder documenting the growth of their sugar crystals. The folder will contain pictures and observation records on the growth of their sugar crystals.

Students will demonstrate their knowledge about types of energy, energy transformations, potential energy and kinetic energy.
