Current Events Rubric- America Land I Love
Purpose: In order to more successfully contribute to community and society at large, you should be current on issues, controversies and events. Being an informed citizen and discussing current events will give you a better perspective on different points of view. You will examine what is happening right now in our country and try to make connections to the past, present, future, and ourselves. Thirteen Colonies
Groups will develop learning stations as it relates to the middle, New England and southern colonies. Each "colony/group" gets a space in the room to develop their stations however they want: legos, dioramas, charts, pictures, power point, slides, etc.

Colonial Region Presentaion Project
Students were placed in cooperative groups and randomly picked one of four topics New England Colonies, Middle Colonies, Southern Colonies or Colonial Life. Students used in class research time as well as homework to create a chart that represented their Colonial Region of the topics addressed in the Colonial Life section.
