I have completed various clinicals to help develop my nursing skills.  During the clinicals, I am required to submit a self evaluation during the "midterm" and "final" portion of the clinical.  The evaluation requires me the reflect back on my clinical and write down strengths and weaknesses, along with areas of improvement.  The evaluation also provides the instructor with a chance to comment on my progress throughout clinical.  Evaluations are necessary to help nursing students realize that areas they need to improve in and what their strengths are.
