Opposite Step	Outstanding The step is opposite foot forward and towards the target, and the body leans forward	Meets Expectations Starts with feet together and steps with opposite foot	Developing Sometimes steps with the opposite foot. Arm Swing	Outstanding The throw is smooth, connected, controlled and accurate.	Meets Expectations Arm swings back and then forward with a straight arm and in a gentle motion with a "rainbow toss."	Developing Arm needs to stay straight with swinging and reach forward at the end of the throw.	Needs Work Arm swing is a little out of control, or the arm does not swing to send the ball.
Catching	Outstanding Moves feet to adjust body to make a controlled catch. Catches Everything.
