Choreography Project
	Unacceptable 1 pts	Developing 2 pts	Proficient 3 pts	Exemplary 4 pts
Authenticity	Unacceptable Dancer is unable to demonstrate the original choreography; the movement is unrecognizable.	Developing Dancer shows a few moves from the original piece but does not demonstrate with clarity.	Proficient Dancer shows a good sense of the original piece with clear intention.	Exemplary Dancer is able to demonstrate the original piece verbatim with clear movement and with the choreographer's intent.
Focus/Energy	Unacceptable Dancer fails to stay focused, lacks concentration and puts forth little effort.	Developing Dancer appears somewhat focused yet performs with little energy.	Proficient Dancer performs exercise by staying focused and utilizes strength and energy.	Exemplary Dancer performs exercise fully focused and demonstrates with ease and concentration.
Overall Performance	Unacceptable Dancer doesn't appear to have understood concept of the assignment.	Developing Dancers demonstrates a weak movement phrase. Was not well planned or rehearsed.	Proficient Dancer appears to be well rehearsed and gives a good performance. Characterization was demonstrated but not quite developed.	Exemplary Dancer appears well rehearsed and gives a strong performance where the audience is moved with emotion.
Technical Skills How was the Quality of the movement?	Unacceptable Fails to include any dance technique.	Developing Demonstrates with very little attention to detail (sickled feet, weak line...).	Proficient Technique was somewhat clean but could have stretched feet a bit more, pushed to have cleaner lines.	Exemplary Quality of movement was clean and very clear.
Collaboration Did the dancers work WELL together?	Unacceptable Dancers did not work well together. Communication was weak and/or non-compliant.	Developing Dancers made an attempt to communicate and rehearse but was not successful.	Proficient Dancers worked well together, all dancers contributed equally.	Exemplary Dancers worked very well together, the commitment level shows in the final product.
