Shooting a Basketball
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Balance	Poor Fair Shoulders are not square to basket Feet are too close Legs are not bent Hips are not lowered Using two hands to hold ball Ball is cupped in the palms of the hand	Fair Good Shoulders are slightly offset to basket One foot in front of the other Knees slightly bent Hips are fairly low Slight balance of ball on shooting hand Ball is slightly raised off of the palm of the hand using fingers	Good Excellent Shoulders are square to basket Feet shoulder width apart Knees are bent Hips are low Ball is balanced with assistance of non-shooting hand Ball is balanced using the palm and finger pads leaving a space between the ball and the center of your palm
Elbow	Poor Fair Elbow is noticeably out to the side Elbow is tucked into students side	Fair Good Elbow is slightly out to the side of the alignment underneath the ball Elbow is not quite parallel to the floor	Good Excellent Elbow is directly under wrist and ball facing the basket Elbow is parallel to the floor.
