These are the criteria I'll use to determine the grade for each dance taught in the class.

Cooperative most of time. Dancer remembered some steps, but forgot others. Dancer missed some of the rehearsals, or came late.
LEVEL 3

Respect and consideration shown for other performers. Prepare and well- rehearsed. Dancer attended all rehearsals and arrived on time.
Group Performance

LEVEL 1

Dance looked as though the group did not utilize rehearsal time. Not insync.
LEVEL 2

Dance looked though the group utilize rehearsal time some of the time.
Not quite together.
LEVEL 3

Dance looked as though the group fully utilized rehearsal time.
Solid performance.
Knowledge of Performance Context

Ability to explain the cultural, historical and/or social context of the dance.
