Catching/marking	A Excellent achievement Tracks effectively, repositioning the body behind the object and adjusts positions of hands to prepare to catch. Consistently catches the object with soft hands to absorb force and with fingers pointing up for catches above the waist and down for below the waist.	B High achievement Tracks effectively, stepping and reaching towards the object with feet apart in preparation to catch. Usually catches the object with soft hands to absorb force and with fingers pointing up for catches above the waist and down for below the waist.	C Satisfactory achievement Tracks effectively, moving hands to reach forward towards the object. Prepares to catch with arms bent and hands cupped in front of the body. Usually catches the object in the hands.	D Limited achievement Shows minimal preparation or tracking. Reaches towards the object with stiff fingers and hands. Rarely catches the object as hand closure is mistimed. May grasp the object towards the body to assist the catch.	E Very low achievement Does not meet the requirements of a D grade.

B High achievement Usually demonstrates control, balance and correct technique when performing locomotor skill of kicking. D Limited achievement Performs minimal locomotor skills with correct technique in activities.	E Very low achievement Does not meet the requirements of a D grade.
