MYP Volleyball Skills Assessment 
Rubric testing 4 skills in volleyball: bump, set, spike, and serve. Criteria are based on MYP criterion C (0-8). Peer to Peer assessment 3 to 5 attempts for each skill depending on grade level.

Serving

- Scholar can consistently serve in play and to the desired zone.
- Serve has great deal of velocity and can potentially disrupt var level serve receive patterns.
- Serve clears net by less than 3 ft.

- Player performs a per-serve routine all the time.
- Scholar can consistently serve in play and sometimes to the desired zone.
- Serve has velocity and can challenge var. level serve receive passing.
- Serve clears net between 6-3 ft.
3-4

- Scholar performs per-serve routine sparingly.
- Scholar can serve the ball in play, but with little zone discretion.
- Serve has some velocity, but not suitable for aces at the var. level.
- Serve clears net between 9-6 ft.
1-2

- Scholar performs no per-serve routine.
- Scholar consistently errs (net violation or out of bounds).
- Serve has minmiual velocity.
- Serve clears net by 10 + ft.

Scholar performs no understanding of how to per-serve.
Scholar consistently errors (net violations or out of bounds). Skips trying to serve. Serve has no velocity.
Serve clears the net by 11 = ft.
