Mastery of the Routine	Poor Remembers very little of the choreography Quits dancing upon messing up	Developing Demonstrates some knowledge of choreography, but unsure of mvmts. Hesitates/ watches others and makes 3 or more errors	Good Demonstrates good knowledge of choreography. 1-2 small errors	Excellent Demonstrates excellent knowledge and execution of the choreography with no errors
Rhythm/Tempo	Poor Demonstrates incorrect rhythm for this dance style Is not on time with the music/counting	Developing Shows a basic understanding of tempo and beat. Starts out in time, but eventually falls behind and/or speeds up or makes errors in rhythm	Good Generally accurate in beat, tempo, rhythms of dance sequences at least 95% the time.	Excellent Shows a complete understanding of tempo and beat and stays on rhythm throughout the dance.
