Insufficient pictures of the event.

Student needs to obtain more pictures of the event or needs pictures representing a wider range of social groups.

Student obtained multiple interesting photos of the event. Variety of social groups represented.

Student wrote little to not text. Individuals or groups are not identified. Student's text contains errors in grammar, spelling, or usage.

Student wrote text which was unclear or in an unsuitable font. Student needs to fix inaccurate text copy. Student's text may contain a minor error in grammar, spelling, or usage.

Student wrote clearly understandable text in appropriate font. Student double-checked to ensure accuracy of names and events. Student's text is free of errors.

Student spent too much time on distractions and either was unable to meet their deadline or produced a substandard spread. Since their work now shifts to their editor to fix for publication, their grade points do as well.

Student was occasionally distracted during work periods. Student had to be reminded once or twice to put distractions away and return to work. Student met their deadline.

Student used their class time to work on their tasks. Student did not need to be reminded to return to their task. Student completed all elements of their spread within the allotted time.
