Student does not hold the ball with both hands.

Student holds the ball with both hands. Elbows are pointed outward or are pointed to far inward.

Student holds the ball on the sides firmly with both hands. Points their elbows sidewards for greater power. Do not bring the elbows too close together or two far apart.

The student has difficulty throwing in the ball. Showed little improvement over the unit.

The student has shown improvement over the unit and can throw in the ball 80% of the time.

The student is proficient at throwing in the ball. They have shown improvement over the unit and can throw in the ball 95% of the time.
