Passing	Always Student is always stepping with correct foot when passing the ball. He/she rotates their hips and uses top and bottom hand to pass the ball with a good release	Usually Student usually steps with the correct foot when passing the ball. He/she rotates their hips and uses top and botttom hand with somewhat with good release point	Sometimes Student does not always step with the right foot when passing the ball. He/she forgets to rotate their hips sometimes and has trouble using top and bottom hand together with consistant release point.	Needs Improvement Student does not step with the right foot when passing the ball. He/she forgets to rotate their hips and does not use both hand together during throw resulting in a weak or innacurate pass	Score
Catching	Always Student holds the stick correctly, moves to get in front of the ball and catches with high consistancy.	Usually Student holds the stick correctly and sometimes moves into good catching position and catches the ball frequently	Sometimes Student does not hold the stick properly much of the time, rarely moves to catch a pass and does not catch with consistancy	Needs Improvement Student uses one hand or bad hand placement to catch the ball, does not move to the ball when it is thrown and drops the passess often	Score
Ground ball pick-up	Always Student always has feet staggered correctly, with knees bent, drops stick level to a flat position. Student consistently scoops the ball off the ground.	Usually Student usually staggers feet correctly, with knees bent and holds the stick in a flat position. Student is successful scooping the ball off of the ground most times.	Sometimes Student does not always stagger feet correctly, bends knees minimally, and does not concentrate on holding stick correctly. Student success is minimal when scooping the ball off the ground.	Needs Improvement Student never staggers feet correctly, bends the knees properly, and does not hold the stick correctly. Student has little to no success when scooping the ball off the ground.	Score
Game Play Understanding	Always Student understands and abides by the rules set forth by the teacher. Demonstrates an undrestanding of offensive and defensive strategy	Usually Student understands and abides by the rules set forth by the teacher usually with few mistakes. Sometimes demonstrates an understanding of strategy	Sometimes Student does not understand all of the rules set forth by the teacher and makes some mistakes. Sometimes Student uses safe practices but must be reminded a couple times, communicates with his/her teammates somewhat, and rarely shows good sportsmanship.
