Slaps the ball in an erratic fashion.
Basic

Uses a combination of fingerpads and the palm of the hand.
Proficient

Usually uses the fingerpads, but occasionally uses the palm of the hand.
Advanced

Uses the finger pads exclusively.
Waist High Level

Below Basic

Ball is dribble up high and not in control Frequently loses the ball.
Basic

Ball is sometimes dribbled below the waist, with occasional dribbling above the waist. Student has control of the ball some of the time.
Proficient

Ball is dribbled below the waist, student has control of the ball most of the time.
Advanced

Ball is dribbled below the waist, student has control of the ball all of the time.
Head Up

Below Basic

Head is down, student is looking at the ball while dribbling.
Basic

Students head is down looking at the ball most of the time, on occasion, students head is up.
Proficient

Students head is up most of the time, on occasion student looks down at the ball.
Advanced

Students head is up all the time and the student has complete control of the ball.
