Student shows excellent and complete comprehension of human proportion, the student created a self-portrait where the head is in proportion to the neck and the neck is in proportion to the shoulders.

Student shows good comprehension of human proportion. The student created a self-portrait where most of the body parts are in proportion. Either the head and neck are proportioned and not the shoulders, or the neck and shoulders are proportioned and not the head.

Student includes details to make their portraits interesting; ie patterns on shirts and scarves, snowflakes in the sky.
Meets

Student includes details to make their portrait interesting but the pattern may be the same on the hat, scarf and shirt. Instead of a pattern they may have drew a scene.

Student did not includes details or patterns on their scarf, hat and shirt or they did not finish them on their self-portrait.
