Catching	Exceeds Expectations -Eyes on ball. -Moves to catch ball. -shows diamond hand position above catch or pinkies together hand position below -Catches with hands only and brings ball in to the body.	Meeting Expectations - Eyes on ball but may flinch. -Shows arms for easy target. - Reaches to catch ball. - Catches with hands only.	Progressing Towards Grade Level - Eyes closed or turn head away from ball. - Does not move to catch ball. -Does not bring arms up for easy target. -Catches ball with straight arms away from body or traps ball between body and arms.	Needs Improvement - Cannot track the object.
Overhand Throw	Exceeds Expectations Throws with proper form and also demonstrates power and consistant accuracy.	Meeting Expectations Stands with side to target. Steps with correct foot. Consistant trunk rotation.	Progressing Towards Grade Level Slight front to back stance. Steps with wrong foot. Minimal trunk rotation or bends forward. Inconsistant accuracy.	Needs Improvement Faces Target. No step. No trunk rotation. Lack of accuracy.
