The student keeps their head up whenever possible, looking ahead to where they need to go while dribbling or cutting.
Uses all parts of both feet to move the ball

The student uses only one foot or part of the foot (i.e. instep only) while dribbling and cutting.

The student attempts to use both feet and different parts of the feet (i.e. instep or lateral) while dribbling and cutting.

The student primarily uses the proper striking force but has a few incidences where the ball got away from them while dribbling and cutting.

The student uses the proper force at all times to keep the ball under control, and there is no loss of ball control while dribbling and cutting

The ball wanders away from the student several times while dribbling or cutting.
Fair
The ball stays close to the body most of the time but sometimes wanders further away while the student is dribbling and cutting.
Efficient
While dribbling and cutting, the student consistently keeps the ball close to the body.
