Yoga Yoga Yoga is a total body strengthening and stretching activity, built on a foundation of ethics and personal discipline. Students will be given information applying to their overall level of Yoga fitness, strength,flexibility, breathing technique and fitness development as part of a healthy lifestyle. Students will apply the information and poses to their daily lives to insure an optimal level of health. Readiness	Poor Is rarely ready and able to begin the yoga lesson.	Fair Is usually ready and willing to begin the yoga lesson.	Good Is often ready to begin the yoga lesson.	Very Good Is always eager to begin the yoga lesson.
Participation/Concentration	Poor Has difficulty concentrating when learning/holding poses. Has difficulty following directions and staying on task.	Fair Usually perseveres when learning/holding poses. Participates actively with frequent reminders to follow instruction and remain on task.	Good Often perseveres and concentrates when learning/holding poses. Often participates actively.	Very Good Perseveres and concentrates when learning/holding poses. Always participates actively, willingly and excitedly. Models for peers.
Technique	Poor Has difficulty understanding how to translate oral direction to the body shape/form.	Fair Usually either has the pose correctly executed with all lines/shapes. Sometimes willing/able to make adjustments.	Good Often has the pose correctly executed with all lines/shapes in tact. Often willing/able to make adjustments	Very Good Always has the pose correctly executed with all lines/shapes in tact.
