Colour Mixing	Fair The student mixed the paint, but it was not properly done. Colour is somtimes consistent throughout.	Good The student mixed the paint properly for most of the painting. Colour is mostly consistent throughout.	Excellent The student mixed the paint properly for all of the painting. Colour is always consistent throughout.
Neatness	Fair The painting is somewhat messy, some rectangles are painted within the lines, but most are not.	Good The painting is neat, and most of the rectangles are painted within the lines. Some improvement could still be made.	Excellent The painting is very neat. All the paint stays within the lines of the rectangle.
Effort	Fair The student put in a minimal amount of work into their painting.	Good The student worked well on their painting but could have done a little bit more to finish it.	Excellent The student did their best work. The painting was of great quality for that students ability.
Use of Class Time	Fair The student was on task some of the time. (About 50% of the class time). The painting was not completed in the time limit.	Good The student was somewhat on task during class time. (About 75% of the class time). The painting was completed within the time limit.	Excellent The student was on task the majority of class time. The painting was completed earl or within the time limit.
