Equipment Set-Up	Poor Student did not follow proper set-up procedures.	Fair Student initiated part of proper procedures.	Good Student completed proper set-up procedures in a professional manner.
Start-Up	Poor Student hit switch and immediately began to engage the machine.	Fair Student allowed machine to come to full speed and then engaged the machine.	Good Student hit switch, allowed machine to come to full speed, listened and observed machine, then begins to slowly engage machine.
Hand Placement	Poor Student disregards any training to proper placement of hands.	Fair Student displays some idea of safe placement of fingers and hands.	Good Student is very aware of machine capabilities and safely places fingers and hands in proper place as instructed.
Balance / Posture	Poor Student is not balanced or in sync with equipment to be used.	Fair Student is somewhat balanced and in sync with equipment to be used.	Good Student is well balanced and fully in sync with necessary posture to safely complete the task.
