Good The student showed signs of getting tense, mad, sad angry and other strong feelings and told the other person.
Decide what happened.	Poor The student did not decide what happened.	Fair The student came up with reasons they might be upset, angry etc. but did not decide exactly why they were feeling this way.	Good The student came up with options of why they were feeling this way and decided what made them feel this way.
Think about options for control.	Poor The student did not think of ways to control themselves.	Fair The student came up of ways they could control themselves but did not verbalize it.	Good The student came up of ways they could control themselves and verbalized it.
Choose the best way.	Poor The student did not choose an option to control themselves.	Fair The student choose a way to control themselves but did not do it.	Good The student chose an option to control themselves and did it.
