Idea/Sketches	Poor Student failed to produce an idea/solution for the project within the specifications.	Fair Student produced a single idea/solution for the project. Sketch was not detailed and the information was difficult to convert into a detailed design drawing.	Good Student produced a single idea/solution for the project. Sketch was easily converted into a detailed design/drawing.	Excellent Student came up with multiple ideas/solutions for the project within the specifications given and converted the ideas into sketches that were easily converted into a detailed design/drawing.
Design/Drawing	Poor Student failed to produce a detailed design drawing.	Fair Drawing was derived directly from the sketch following all specifications given. Drawing is missing 4-7 key details, dimensions, and shop notes necessary to build the object.	Good Drawing was derived directly from the sketch following all specifications given. Drawing is missing 1-3 key details, dimensions, and shop notes necessary to build the object.	Excellent Drawing was derived directly from the sketch following all specifications given. Drawing contains all details, dimensions, and shop notes necessary to build the object.
