Performs step/hop but not completely fluent

Performs coordinated movement

Level 1

little to no balance on take off or landing and looks more like a hop
Level 2

Jumps with proper form from one or two feet but shows lack of control on take off or landing
Level 3

Jumps from one or two legs with solid take off and landing
galloping

Level 1

Walk or run. Back foot crosses front foot. Turns to side.
Level 2

Back foot sometimes crosses front.
Level 3

Non-support gallop, leads with 1 foot and has an uneven rhythm.
hopping

Level 1

Cannot balance on one foot on take off or landing

Hops mostly on one foot but does not use the other foot as well or at all

Can hop balanced on either foot
running

Level 1

Rarely runs looking straight ahead. Little or no arm movement.
Level 2

Usually looks straight ahead with some arm movement.
Level 3

Looks straight ahead while running and feet and arms are moving in a straight line in the direction of movement.
Sliding

Level 1

Movement resembles gallop or feet cross.
Level 2

Movement is sideways but feet sometimes cross.
Level 3

Consistent sideways movement with either foot leading and feet do not cross.
